Pubs in Joo Chiat

Since I've gotten some queries (from non-sbf bros) as to what the Joo Chiat scene is like, just thought I'd give a little info.

That little road stretching from Joo Chiat complex to Katong is the infamous infamous area called Joo Chiat. Starting off near Joo Chiat Complex is Jazzy 51 (1 of the most popular joint) and Pub88 (or something like that) Taking a walk down further will lead you to where the main action is, i.e. a cluster of pubs inc Blue Lagoon, Club V, Bunker, etc.

Girls operating in this area are mainly viets ranging from the ages of 19-60. Hehe. Do not however, be surprised if you come across girls younger or older. There are 16 year olds working there too mind you. All girls work on a tipping system. They will approach you and offer to sit with you for awhile before they start to 'butterfly' (a term used to describe girls moving on to another customer before coming back).

So what do you do when a girl sits with you? That's up to the individual. Some guys like to hug, others like to kiss and touch. Idiots like me just talk in hope of developing something more later. As a side note, some girls do have a reasonable command of Chinese but most don't. Body and sign language is the way to go.

At the end of the night, you tip your partner between 20-100 again depending on how much you think her time with you is worth. This is also when the guy/girl approaches the subject of going for either a short time ($100) or overnight ($200). Not all does it but I believe most of them do.
